The very way we work is being shaken – and for many of us, it is inescapable that we will need to work longer. But how? It is Meyler Campbell’s hypothesis, currently being tested in two groundbreaking research projects, that coaching may play a powerful role – and thereby provide an important new way for organisations to deal humanely with staff, and a valuable new business stream for freelance coaches and coaching thoughtleaders.

But to do this, there is a vast amount we all need to find out, to ground our work in solid research and practice. Hence we have commissioned two substantial pieces of research and enquiry, into:

  1. what is actually happening out there right now/what is best practice, and
  2. what is the serious psychology underpinning transitions
